Drawing inspiration from the world around him, Michael's keen eye for detail and ability to see form and texture in the most unexpected places set him apart. His creative journey began in Los Angeles in 1994, where he designs productions for high-profile clients such as Apple, Nike, Samsung and Polaroid. Over the years, he has accumulated extensive experience in art directing for commercials, music videos, and feature films, showcasing his versatile talents and unwavering dedication to his craft.

In 2011, Michael embarked on a journey to create the knife he'd always envisioned but couldn't find. It needed a specific feel in the hand, exceptional performance, and a specific bevel. He crafted that knife and countless others. Thirteen years later, his unwavering pursuit has given birth to Provenance Made, a space where Michael shares his cherished creations. What began as a quest for a unique knife has flourished into a brand that embraces craftsmanship, quality, and passion in every piece.
